As a family photographer in McKinney, I have several locations that I love to shoot at, but Erwin Park has become one of my "go to" favorite spots! It's such a versatile park and really works well for just about any session. 

This past summer I came across an opportunity to give back to our local heroes. A few years ago a fellow photographer started doing free mini sessions every year on 9/11 for law enforcement officers, firefighters and military families and was looking to add more locations and more photographers this year so that we could serve more families. Being married to a Military Veteran myself,  I was honored to be a part of this event. 

We had a great time capturing a few memories for these families and I hope to do this again next year! All of these families have served our country and/or community-I hope you'll join me in saying "THANK YOU!" to each and every one of them for their service. 

Being a family photographer in McKinney, TX during the fall means my schedule is jam packed with awesome families this month and next. I'm so glad that I kicked off the season with these local heroes! I can't think of a better way to begin my Fall Family Sessions!
