Bonnie Wenk Park in McKinney turned out to be a hidden treasure for this McKinney family photographer! I almost didn't want to disclose the location for fear of it becoming over crowded haha!
In all honesty though, it's not hidden at all. Bonnie Wenk is located in north McKinney and very visible from the main road. For some reason we got really lucky this particular night and had a really large area all to ourselves. Fall for photographers is super busy and most of the public parks are full of families and photographers just crawling on top of each other for a great spot to shoot in!
I loved meeting this sweet family last fall. They are somewhat new to Texas and were looking for a photographer. I was honored that they chose to work with me! The timing of our session happened to come at the end of an unexpectedly difficult day for mom and dad but they put their game faces on for the kids and powered through. I loved capturing the love between them and really could feel the warmth and joy that they brought each other. Here are my favorites from this session!
