As a Plano, TX Newborn Photographer I have to say newborn lifestyles are some of my favorite sessions to shoot. Baby N and his mommy were no exception! They were such a joy to work with and I especially loved capturing that sweet bond that happens when a woman becomes a mother for the first time. There's nothing quite like it.
It was a rainy weekend when we had this shoot and there was just a cozy feeling in the air. Baby N was calm but alert for the entire session and was in awe of the world around him, especially his mama. We started off with some sweet baby and mommy pictures that I know will be treasured for years to come.
Some of my absolute favorite captures are detail shots. You might even say I'm a little obsessed! Baby toes, ears, hands, noses...all of those tiny little features that just don't stay tiny for long enough are just what I love to see frozen in time. They tell the story of something beautiful and fleeting. They are something that you want to remember, but you never will unless it's documented...sleep deprivation, time and distance will take over and you will forget these little things that you didn't know mattered so very much.
