One of my favorite things about lifestyle newborn sessions is utilizing the environment of my clients homes. As a Dallas newborn photographer I get to see all kinds of different styles and this nursery was just adorable. I love the neutral gray's and bright whites mixed with pops of color here and there. And the sweet little elephant theme adds just the right touch!
We spent a good portion of our session in the nursery getting little mister settled. I took a step back and let mom and dad do their thing. Newborns have their own agenda and the beauty of lifestyle is that we can take breaks to soothe, feed, change diapers etc...and I'll usually just keep on shooting through those in between moments.
If you know my work, you know that I love some wide eyed stares, and "free posing". Capturing babies doing what they do is one of my favorite things. I loved a wrapped up baby for sure, but letting them stretch it out is so sweet too!
We finished up the session with a few portraits and detail shots of this handsome little man and his mommy and daddy. Thank you, T family for allowing me to capture these moments for you!
